Trails of Discovery Volunteers

Trails of Discovery not only educate and inform visitors at the location or venue but also help to publicise The Arts Society name in the wider community. Each trail is advertised with a QR code on a poster which can be scanned and downloaded to a mobile device.

Trails of Discovery are no longer restricted to places of worship but may be created for any historic building and can be adapted as Town Trails, Park Trails or Memory Trails, for adults as well as children.

The team has recently completed a Church Trail for Holy Family Church, Southport, having previously made trails for Holy Trinity Church, St Philip & St Paul with Wesley Church and St Peter's Church in Formby, where a Memory Trail was also created. Plans have been made for trails in Hesketh Park and research is currently underway.
