Day Trip to the two Chester Cathedrals.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TRIP IS NOW FULL- NO PLACES REMAINING

The Church of St John the Baptist was the Cathedral and Collegiate Church of Chester from 1075 until 1541. It predates Durham Cathedral by some 13 years. Sir Nikolaus Pevsner said that visiting the church was like taking a walk back into the 12th century and that the Nave displays the finest example in Europe of the transition from Romanesque to the Gothic.
